Located in the underdeveloped area of Overbrook, known preferably as O.B., in the east end of Ottawa, it is across the Rideau River from the well known neighbourhoods of Lower Town and Sandy Hill, and just to the south of Vanier, Rockcliffe Park and New Edinburgh.
Overbrook has a very small surrounding, and a high population density. The neighbourhoods main street is Queen Mary, which hosts many of its shops and services. Several parks and schools are also found in the area. Roman Catholicism is the predominant religion, however high amounts of immigration, specifically, Lebanese, bring strong Muslim influence to the area.
Easy access to Hwy 417 puts downtown just a few minutes away, and OC Transpo offers extensive service to the area. Routes 18 and 829 stop just outside the doors to this charming Ottawa rental.
