Winterholme - Ottawa Apartment
Erected in 1865, this stately limestone residence is considered to be one of Sandy Hill's finest Estates. Once home to Sir Sandford Fleming, (inventor of uniform standard time zones and important developer of CP Railway) Winterholme was converted to apartments in the 1920's.
Its proximity to Downtown and Ottawa University place all necessary amenities within walking distance. Also, OC Transpo stations nearby provide easy access to the rest of the city. Routes 6 and 316 stop just outside the buildings elaborate facade.
