As an educator, Aquilo Mosaics endeavors to impart not only a strong set of technical skills, but provide its students with a historical framework and a sense of possibility for this ancient craft in contemporary society.
Hands on Quality:
Each mosaic created by Aquilo Mosaics is unique. Each project is carefully designed and executed; each tessera is hand shaped. You won't find "manufactured" pieces here: no factory cut tesserae or stones.
Working with the Client:
The customer can play as great a role in the design of a piece as Aquilo Mosaics does. Commissioned work can involve the customer as little or as great as is desired. To whatever degree of involvement the customer wishes to participate, Aquilo Mosaics is ready to accommodate.
