Glabar Park is a medium sized, mature neighbourhood located in Ottawa’s west side. It’s southern border is the Queensway, to the west is Woodroffe Avenue, the eastern border is Maitland, while the north side is limited by Carling Avenue and its transition to the neighbourhood of Carlingwood.

The neighbourhood is home to two elementary schools, two churches, and several parks, mainly; Kingsmere Park and Castlewood Park. Kingsmere is the most community-oriented, and features a double- sized hockey and skating rink in the winter and a wading pool in the summer months.
